I must say I truly was surprised she is definitely is a quick study and regurgitated her taught answers well. On substance however she was lacking to the point of stating she would not answer all of the questions that the moderator would pose. It is obvious that Gov. Palin does have some talents just not the kind the Country needs in this writers opinion. I found her winking to be unbecoming of a statesmen it reminded me of when our current President tried to sell the war in Iraq trust me wink wink I wouldn't lie.She failed to tell the American people what McCain's position is on any of the current difficulties facing our Nation and continuously slipped and slid herself away from intelligent conversation and sticking to her own talking points. Her gaff or naivete stated that the constitution gives the Vice President more power over the congress than used, sound familiar Cheney? It is clear that Gov. Palin has aspirations and probably will be a voice for the G.O.P. in the future once she is groomed and schooled but now is not the time. Our Country can not afford to take a chance with her just a heart beat away from the Presidency. McCain continues to try his best to convince America if not himself that he and his maverick partner will bring our Country the change it needs, while his record clearly shows his 90% voting record with our current administration will not .
While 69 million people were tuned in to view the debate the G.O.P. watched with bated breath waiting for the crash, there was none and to that I give my congratulations but as the poles and intellect shows the mighty Palin struck out. To those conservatives who insist that Palin hit it out of the park I say, if you think it hard enough even illusion seems real
